P4 Coolers, which to buy, cos I am lost....

Ok I am finally going to buy the ThermalTake PSU today, but I only have a stock HSF on my P4 2.4 and I want something quieter. Basically at the moment I have the following cooling in my machine....

    Standard 60mm Coolermaster HSF
Titchy MSI fan on the northbridge
    The fan on the 9800Xt
    2 x White 80mm LED case fans
    Dual Fan Q-Tec 550W PSU

Now I am going to remove the PSU and swop it with a 480W ThermalTake, is there any other recommendations you can make to reduce the sound on this machine, it sounds like a serious jet plane at the mo and feel this is more than likely due to the PSU, but am willing to be open to suggestions.....

Seems the CPU cooler market is more looking towards AMD chips than Intel, but any good suggestions for quiet?

    Thanks m@

Well, if you are confident using the non-standard attachment, and willing to part with £30 this: http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/prod...ps7000alcu.htm
is very quiet and effective. I have one.

    Buy here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...alman_121.html

Also try Vantec Stealth, forget LEDs: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...e_Fans_47.html
I use 2 of these too.

Finally, having been silly enough not to get a passively cooled Asus motherboard (), rectify your error with one of these: http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/zm-nb47j.htm

    Buy here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...oolers_57.html

    Hope this helps...

btw. My system has a Thermaltake power supply too - in total it has 6 fans and it is still a 'quiet' system.
