my benchmark score

hi

i just run 3d becnh mark 2001 and score 12342

is that the sort of score i should except with the following setup

sn41g2
3000+ amd barton
software moddable 9500 np converted to 9800 pro
twinmos pc 3700

Just coz it says 9800 pro in the windows driver properties doesnt mean its a 9800 pro.

I think reg hacks are rife for this sort of thing, wee softmod your radeon 7500 into a geforce fx 5900 ultra!! All it does is change a few strings in the registry from "radeon 7500" to "geforce fx5900 ultra".

I may of course be totally wrong tho...

i'm afraid i find it impossible that a reg hack on a 9500 non pro can turn it into anythign other than a 9700pro max, there is hardware differences between the 9800pro and the previous chipset, sure not much but there are hardware differences, in my opinion its physically impossible to do this.

And your score is crap, i think whatever hack you've done to that card is maybe made it do 9500pro scores, nothing like what i would expect for that sort of spec machine.

I would expect 17K+ for a 9700pro with that sort of spec.
