is it worth me building my own laptop?
having trouble deciding what to get, built my own pc but not sure how hard and about specs for laptops.
got a budget for around £500-600 is that enough?

forgot to mention that i want quite high specs on it, im not an intense gamer but i like COD so would like one good enough for a bit of gaming, rest will be for music and general stuff.
The only barebones really available only let you choose cpu, RAM and HDD (dvd etc..) what are you looking for exactly?
i just want a laptop with good specs, and good enough to do a little gaming now and again with a budget of £5-600

Staffs - what was that absolute monster you recommended to someone the other day?

Graphics are a little bit worse still but the specs are huge and the laptop is small and light
Screen lets it down a little apparently but having never seen it I couldn't comment.
so really im better off sticking with dell? theres one for 579 and one for 599 but i dont see no difference :S
Diffferent deal codes but probably the same spec as you said.
i see the one for 679 and theres a 10% off coupon but have to use it before dec 31st but i got to sell my pc first so wont have that in time!
is it not better to get a xps if i am going to do a bit of gaming? instead of the studio?
If you can afford one yeah. They start towards the end of your budget and you need one with an 8600GT to be worthwhile over the studio as the 8400gs and 3450 are comparable.
