    What should i go for...

    Hi guys,

I was interested in purchasing a SN41G2. Drop an XP2500 and 2x256MB of DDR 333 in it. The idea was to have a quite powerful system that could be moved easily. It will probably take the plane too

However, I started looking back at desktops and was thinking of the Asus A7N8X. I would also drop an XP2500 and 2x256MB of DDR 333 or 400 (more probably). A Lian Li case would also be purchased. In that case, when i travel, I would *just* need to break the system apart and re-assemble it afterwards.

Travelling would occur once... (probably). So, there is no need to break the system apart and reassemble it more than once. But still, it is quite difficult to pack everything separately!!

What would you go for? The SN41G2 with all its cool features or the Asus A7N8X + Lian Li?

    Thanks for helping me decide!

I have just side graded to a SN4G2 from a A7N8X Delux in my Blackwidow and I have been so impressed that I have now sold my A7N8X system

    Go for the Shuttle

Thanks Nimrod. I was impressed by the Asus A7N8X Deluxe and all its features. But if you prefered to go for a Shuttle and sell the Asus A7N8X, I can go ahead and purchase the Shuttle. I will surely not be disappointed

The only thing I will say is this...

Obviously a shuttle doesn't have room for more than 1 CDRom type device and you'll also struggle to get a couple of HDDs in there.

So if you're going to go down the Shuttle route, be 100% that you won't want to stick another Drive in there !

Although theres nothing to stop you adding a USB one and with a DVD-RW installed all my media choices are covered.
