    BIOS: Hotswap and Reflash questions

I've been doing a little research into this after coming to the most feasible conclusion that my SN41G2 bios is dead. This was the thread that brought me to that conclusion (thanks to all who posted in it):

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=15477

I rebuilt my shuttle and plugged it all in again, one last time, a while ago - just to make sure it wasn't my imagination that it wasn't working. It wasn't

Bigpockets didn't reply to the emails I sent on.. Monday I think, and Thursday, so I've given up on them until I've pondered this Hotswap/reflash option a little more.

Luckily, I have another SN41G2 that is working sat next to me (built for the missus), so I was thinking to possibly perform a bios hotswap/reflash myself. I was looking at this guide:

    http://www.nforcershq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15104

and these guidelines for removing the chip:

    http://www.badflash.com/removbio.htm

Although the guide is based on an Asus mobo, surely the principal is the same for a shuttle mobo too? I just want to make sure, so that I don't end up buggering things up even further (ie, rendering the missus PC-less, I'd be in trouble then!).

Any thoughts, ideas, opinions (or offers!) would be greatly appreciated,
    ta irl :>

Nevermind, went and did it anyway. BIOS chip is functions 100% in my ladys Shuttle, but I'm still getting the same problem in mine. I guess it's most likely a problem with the motherboard that would require an RMA.

Seeing as Bigpockets haven't replied to my emails after a week, I'll badger them on the phone tomorrow.

I tryed hot flashing my nf7-s. I had a few problems, for example it corrupted my GOOD bios chip, good thing though that the other chip then worked so I could hot flash back
Didnt save my b0rked board either..
