Asus Xonar users, updated drivers here

Following a guide on the asus forum, I've modded the newest STX driver, for these cards, for both XP and Vista

Uninstall your current drivers using add/remove programs

Extract these to a folder using 7zip or Winrar, go into the folder, find the XP or Vista folder, and run the setup file from inside there.

These resolve many of the issues that any current drivers for these cards have.

Based on the STX 8.17.62 Driver (Jan 2009)

Driver benefits..
-multiple fixes to certain games
-resume from s3 problems resolved
-sound loop crashes fixed
-enables LFE crossover changes for all speaker sizes

Description:
1.Fix Xonar D2X/ Xonar DX/ Xonar HDAV 1.3/ Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe channel swap or noise/latency during 192kHz 5.1/7.1 playback when used with certain motherboards (like Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3, Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6, etc.)
2.After installing, please reboot your system to get the patch take effect.
