    Which HSF unit ?

I have got an AMD 720be on ordered and have heard that the boxed cooler is pretty poor.

So the question is, Do I continue using my trusty Arctic cooling freezer pro or do I buy something bigger and hopefully better ?

I've been looking at the Scythe Ninja 2 and also at the Arctic cooling Freezer Extreme.

I have come to the following conclusions. Both are approx the same price, The freezer is quieter, both have a poor retention system(IMHO).

I have not found any conclusive tests to prove one is better than the other.

    Re: Which HSF unit ?

The best thing would be to test both coolers first and see how good they are. The newer Phenom II processors do seem to run cooler so may get away with using the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro or.....not!
