Runs off the integrated graphics (which your specced board has as well).

Re: £550 To Spend...What Would You Go For.

    It's here in this thread
    http://forums.hexus.net/1584306-post34.html

    Built just before xmas.

You can't get the PSU anymore which is a shame because it's great and was cheap at the time.
The RAM is great, but the cosair/OCZ stuff at £30 is great value at the moment.
Phenom II/ AM3 X3's are better than that phenom.. wish I had waited.
Your motherboard is a good couple of models up but as you don't need integrated mine might suffice.

To the OP prices may have gone up so it may cost more to build staffsMike system now. Funnily enough though high end graphics card prices have started to plummet like a Moose in freefall.

Yeah I'm slightly out of touch with prices, they seem to be on the up again in certain areas.

I had to do it, it's been so long maybe antec will see it and let me win another one

What sort of PSU should I go for?

    Antec, Silverstone, Corsair, FSP?

    Or any others...

Corsair are good, I'm happy with the enermax and my OCZ.

Re: £550 To Spend...What Would You Go For.

I agree with what eveyone has said re CPU (Phenom II's seem to offer awesome bang per buck ATM), mboard (really perm any one from three or four - although I'm an Asus fan), memory - I think Aria generally offer the best deals.

With regard to case and PSU - Scan regularly do Today Only deals on the Coolermaster CM-590 CM-690 cases (both ATX so probably better airflow than a microATX) and on the FSP700-80GLN PSU. There are a number of threads about this...

    OEM or retail?

OEM licenses are non-transferable - the license essentially says an OEM copy is died to a motherboard
