    yes, tried that... still no succes.. it shows up as HD connection too!

    A friend of mine created a simple program that allows you to change the res of a monitor to any res a driver supports if you pm your email i'll email it along

    I just found this on dells site... its a different size than the one someone linked to earlier, and it is for the S2409W, so hope it works for you...
