    Zak,

I know you've purchased that nice memory and all but maybe its time to enjoy the very nice overclock you can obtain and enjoy playing on the machine like that?.

I know its your choice but i think you should be more than happy with your results on a v1.6 board.

The goop pn the northbridge is crap mate, if you have time do reapply it. Use the non conductive stuff if you can (usualy comes free with coolermaster and such heatsinks, white stuff) so ou dont run the risk of killing anything.

Also have a read through this me old chap . A lot less risky and it will still make you feel like a man

If you dont want to take any risks though, do with what TiG said, just be happy with your overclock . You can adjust it up to 1.7v in the BIOS, leave it at that if you dont wnt to mess

Remember, somtimes relaxing the RAM's timings and raising the FSB more can lead to better performance. You'll have to try both and benchmark both to see which is faster for you. In my experience relaxing the timings and going for the higher FSB has yielded better results.
