    water cooling pc help needed

hello i am new to the site and really need some help
I bought a really nice set up and had a shop do a water cooling system for me and to e polite they made a right mess of it andseems they had no idea what they was doing.
I live in sheffield and was wondering if anyone knew or did anything with computer modding on the water cooled side as i want all the water cooling re-doing and put together properly i know i will need a better pump and a couple of other things, but basicly i need it doing right as ive spent a lot of money and would like it done correct and tune it up
If anyone can advise me of where to go/call or if you do this yourself can you please get intouch as i have been looking for someone that does this kind of work that knows about water cooling and finding it really hard to find anyone even closer than a couple of hundred miles lol
i dont mind traveling a bit to get it done but the other end of the map is too far for me
    thanks in advance

    Hi,

I am in Liverpool, last resort maybe.

Before all this though; what are your computer specs, what watercooling parts are in it, pictures would help too, so we can see exactly what is wrong.

Re: water cooling pc help needed

the parts i have in a thermaltake armour liquid cooled tower is a Q6600 cpu with a danger den water block on it 2 gig geil memory a raptor hard drive for boot and installing me games on too ive 2 EVGA 8800gtx black pearl water cooled graphic cards
and the liquid loop side of it what they did was from a dual radiator to the cpu then in to a single radiator thats situated on the back of the pc to hopefully cool it after the cpu down in to 1 graphic card then in to the other card then back in to the dual radiator the pump is the 1 that came with the thermaltake tower and i have been told its not powerful enough to go threw all that tubing and everywhere it goes the shop also put loads of tubing that was not needed for example instead of a small bit of tubing from 1 graphic card to the other they have used loads and its like that everywhere i sent photos to the place in sussex and he was gob smacked and said it was a pitty as the parts i have are really good and could be a fantastic setup if done correct he advised on a new cpu cooler and new pump and then to rip it all out start again but this time nice and tidy and done correct then tune the system up.i'll get some photos uploaded asap
hope this is of some help and hope you guys can help me as i am stuck pulling my hair out lol

Re: water cooling pc help needed

As PeterStroba asked, please supply pictures if possible. I can assure you of one thing, if you're running dual 8800GTX's with waterblocks then the standard Thermaltake pump is no where near powerful enough to push the coolant around the system.

If pictures aren't available, please follow the water loop and list each join/component on a new line.

    Example:
    - Pump to CPU
    - CPU to Radiator 1 (specify size)
    - Radiator 1 to Graphics 1
    - etc.

Please take this next part constructively, although it's critical. It would help if you used punctuation in your posts as it's time consuming, difficult and somewhat painful to read huge slabs of text. I had to read your post several times to get an understanding of your problem.
