    New i5 setup

My current system is lagging behind a bit and I have decided its time for an upgrade. I like the look of the new Intel Core i5's as they suit my price bracket and what I use my system for but past that i have no idea what to buy as it was a long time since I put any PC bits together. I would need a CPU, Mobo, RAM and a power supply as I don't think my old 400W FSB one will cut it. At the moment I need onboard RAID capability and would like 2 PCI-E 16x slot in case I want to move to 2 GPU's in the future (probably ATI/Crossfire). I think 4Gb of RAM would be good but i'm not sure. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks very much

    What's the budget ?
Given the new DX11 cards will be released in a few weeks can this be put off ?
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

sorry, forgot the budget would be ~£400-£475 ideally. I was thinking of waiting to see what the Dx11 cards were like before changing my old card out but do you think I'd be better off waiting and upgrading the whole lot at once?

Yup, I'd wait a couple of days. With a bit of luck the press releases of the new 5850s (about 5pm out time) will signal a rash of 4890s on ebay !
IMHO You'll probably be looking at an i5 750. More than enough power.

    This is strong advice.
