    Is there greater DVD capacity?

    Hi all I was wondering does any company have any DVD+/-R that have a greater size that 4.7Gb? COs im increasingly finding it annoying that some of my data is JUST larger than a 4.7gb DVD and that I have to back the rest onto a CD

    If they are available can u tell me where? cheers

    yes and no

    you can get doubled sided dvdrs (4.7gb x 2), which are like the flipper dvds, however there harder to find, and youd need some sort of program like file splitter, so you could reassemble the data when backing up


    there are dual layer dvdrws coming out soon, which write dvd9 instead of dvd5, which give 9.5gb of space, but they will expensive and not out yet
