    A few bits and bobs.

Need a new computer case as my current xClio coolcase is falling to pieces (literally) and it's making my bedroom look untidy as the stockpile of broken bits is looking bad. Also unhappy with the front ports (USB/Audio) not working, despite being plugged in. And the fans all stopped working.

Easier just to buy a new one I think.

My mobo is either ATX or mini-ATX. I have a HD3650 which needs to fit in. Also requires at least 3 (preferably 4) HDD slots and 2 DVD slots. USB/Audio ports on the front are not necessary, but would be appreciated

I'm planning on replacing all my fans whilst I'm about it as well... all my case fans need replacing

I also want to know whether it's better to try and find 2 more 1GB sticks of RAM or just replace my PC-6400 2x1GB with PC-6400 2x2GB.

Money isn't exactly a problem, so long as it's justifiable I'll buy it I would, however, prefer to not end up spending more than ~£50-70 on a few fans, a case and some RAM

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Re: A few bits and bobs.

Personally I'd go for 4x1gb, remember to match voltage and cas for best resaults
    2x1gb will cost you £38 new http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/2GB-(...d-CAS-5-5-5-18
Or look around 2nd hand should be able to get 2x1g for around £20 or less
(I got my 4x1gb OCZ reaper for £35 2nd hand)

On cases you need need to findout which your motherboard is, atx or matx
You can put an mATX motherboard into an atx case without isse but not the other way around.
If you have mATX then the antec mini p180 can still be got for £66 on ebuyer
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/140996
no need for new fans with that

For ATX the Antec 300 is very hard to beat for the price and again comes with fans, although the prices my be going up soon due to changes in the € vs $

For cheap the coolermaster 330 is a good price, but will need an extra fan
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146337

And one last sugestion is the much overlooked Silverstone Precision PS02b
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Silve...r-Case-w-o-PSU
This in not a normal silverstone case, it's verysimple inside and steel construction not aluminium.
It is a lower PSU design, but the rest of the inside layout is basically the same as the cm 330
only comes with 1 fan so you'll want to buy tow more to go in it.
I'd advise 2 low rpm 140mm fans (the top can take 140mm and I think the front can as well, if not just drill 4 holes for the screws )

I really don't know why the Precision get's overlooked so much, the few reviews out there seem to slat it for it's simplisity, lack of features and for not being made of aluminium, while glossing over the low price.

EDIT: Almost forgot, it's a bit more money but the Lancool K58
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Lanco...97-Audio-ports

Bill Owen did a review of the K60, it looks like the only difference is the k58 doesn't come with 2x140mm top fans pre mounted
Apart from that I don't see any other missing things http://lanoc.org/reviews/lancool-k58/
Still has the very nice tool less stuff in it.
