    Will go for the Asus M4A785D-M PRO then.

    With regards to the external hard drive, how would I automate the back up like the Freeagent would do? It does a full backup at first then updates it when it detects any changes. What backup software could I get to do this?

    I used Allway Sync for that in the past, although I had to pay money for the professional version to transfer as many files as I did. It's a very nice solution, and one that you can "try before you buy", but nonetheless it might be worth looking into a free alternative.

    The thing I liked about Allway was that it was very easy to use - I could set it up to be automatic, and then just plug in the external drive and it would sync as soon as I plugged the drive in.
