Just rang scan now and cancelled. There were a number of issues with the above which I only later realised.

The PSU for example only has the connection for one HD 5870, removing access to crossfire without an upgrade.

I spend money when it makes sense, when it doesn't I keep it in my pocket. I don't know why people despair so much when I choose not to spend £171 on an 80GB drive. the case will last a good 5 years without limitation. Memory quickly becomes out dated.
Good to hear your cancelation when off without a hitch. I agree about the SSD thingy, I just don't see the benefit yet. Yes, it will be faster, but is it worth paying 10 fold for the storage space?

Thanks for the add Nightkaos, see you're a student, what you studying in?

You've offered some great advice, been checking out both the HX 850 PSU and the H50 water cooler, both seem excellent options.

Half of my proposed build would be Corsair then lol

    PSU, Case, Memory, Cooler ...

I am wondering whether it is really worth waiting for that GTX 300, I have no idea of price, performance yet. I just wish I had some benchmarks to look at the justify the wait :\. If my patience doesn't hold I will just go HD 5870 x 1 or 5850 x 2

It is not worth waiting. Take to long. Yes, they will probably be good cards, but let me if you a piece of advice: If you wait for a new piece of hardware to come out, by the time it comes out there will be another piece of hardware in development worth waiting for.

Anyway, at the moment the "advanced DX11 features" aren't being fully realised by the games on the market. I recommend 5850 x2 in CF, best bang for buck, however, if you play games that prefer single GPUs, the 5870 would be a better option.

Engineering, good choice, I graduated myself with a gaming degree . Haven't put it to use in industry yet though

You make a good point, by the time the GTX 300 comes out it'll be Q1 2010 and I'll be thinking about Gulftown processors I just know it! X_X

If I'm not careful I'll be needing
