    advice on gaming rig..



    what do you reckon on this?

    What PSU should i get?

    budget is around £600..

    If yes - do you have any additional hardware (ie, a boot drive)
    What resolution is your monitor?
    Any reason you have picked an older socket?

    I'd advise you to go with DDR3, AMD Phenom II 965 and an AM3 board along with a HD5770 instead.

    It should work out around the same if not cheaper in price in total as DDR3 is slightly more expensive and the AM3 board and 5770 will be more expensive but the Phenom II 965 will be cheaper.

    This PSU: (OCZ StealthXStream 500W) will meet your system's needs easily.
