Help! Keeps crashing and resetting during gaming!

I have a problem. My SN45G has started flaking out whilst playing games. It randomly crashes and even resets sometimes. UT 2004 plays most of the time, but CM 03/04 crashes all of the time. I have made two recent changes: i updated to the latest bios for the mobo and also fitted an iceberq4 pro to my graphics card. So the question is, is it either of the above or my flakey aria memory? Please help!

To test the RAM you could use something like Memtest
"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."

Could well be RAM. I had this kind of problem a few weeks back. Ie programs and games crashing and locking up for no apparent reason. I thought it was a flaky OS but when i tried reinstalling i came up with memory erors. Checked it with memtest and the RAM was utterly knackerd I dont know how it workrd atall

It could also be temps of the video card. Are you sure the cooler is installed properly?

I think so. No problems otherwise. The crashes are only intermittent. Earier today i plays about 45 mins of UT 2004 without a problem.

Oops! It was my poo memory being tortured by 2.5-3-3-11 timings! Have invested in something a little better.

Yeah...it must be your ram, as CM takes up a lot of ram useage, and hardly pushes your GFX card.....

Poo ram indeed! I have backed off the timings and just had a damn good game of CM and UT2004!
