No, there aren't anymore hidden/locked out cores or cache on them!

CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Not yet. When hex cores become available I wouldn't be surprised to see a few chips unlocking to more than 4.

Opterons are up to 12 core (recently spotted in the wild on ebay) so who knows what the future has in store...

Re: Cheapest/best AM3 CPU to unlock

Well CPUs are designed to last for 10 years apparently and I really don't think most people will use their chip for more than 5 years. And then when you think about it, I really doubt unlocking and overclocking will reduce the life span of the CPU by more than half so I don't think there's anything to worry about.

The only thing that you should worry about IMO is whether or not it's stable and the temperatures haha.

it wont reduce the life if you dont need to increase volts to keep it stable but just like ocing if you up the volts then lifetime decreases but as long as you are within safe limits you will get rid of the CPU before it dies
