Best £350-400 ish laptop out their.

Looking to spend around £350-400 on a laptop must be 15inch minimum screen size and new. So does anyone know of any good offers running around that range at the moment will add a bit more if needed but no more than £500 and would prefer closer to the original price range if possible.
Needs to be fairly fast but will mostly be used for Facebook and spot the hidden object games.

Try the PC World refurbished section. Can find units from high £200 upwards.

They should be like new as they are manufacturer refurbished, but always a chance that it might have some cosmetic damage. But you can fit a laptop skin that sticks a design over it, e.g. Lapjacks although I've seen them for £2.45 in shops for some unknown brand.

The advantage of refurbished is you can get a higher budget model in your price range, depending on what's in stock when look.

Went for this one in the end. I hope it will be fast enough the I3 was very tempting but as the intended owner is 65 years of age I should hope the bigger screen will end up being of more use than the better cpu.

Going for a bigger screen is more useful in this case IMHO. The Core i3 notebook would be faster but a notebook with a bigger screen would be nicer to use.

seems like a pretty good deal to me that one actually, didn't realise that it was a 17inch model either. resolution seems pretty good and overall not bad for the money. the t4400 isn't that bad a processor either for performing basic tasks like word and web browsing.
