    i3-530 vs g6950

    what does the i3-530 offer over the g6950?

    ..at the same clock speed how does the performance of 3mb vs 4mb l2 compared??

    The G9650 is embarrassingly bad. If your thinking of buying any of those for a new build go for the proper i3 - if your not too fussed by buying AMD over Intel you would probably yield better results getting an AM3 motherboard and Athlon X4.

    Any numbers to back that up?
    seems like an i3 with 3mb cache and no HT wouldn't be anything like 'embarrassingly bad' ??

    The Pentium isn't great. At that price it's either save up for i3 or go for AMD.
