It looks the same with my Y/L's too though :(
I'll just have to grab some from work :)
Or drill and tap them to M4, as M3.5 or No6 Unc will be bastards to find :(, at leats M4 gives me a huge range to pick from, probably socket buttons though, they should look a bit better :D

Tell me about it :)
It just wouldn't come out of the tube nicely so i ended up dragging it around making a mess
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
there self tapper iirc ?
i dont blame you tapping it to m4, makes sense, just make sure they wont hit a fin :)
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
If you have to notch your fans, this method works very well.

Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
taktak, can you measure the space around the fan hole that is between the main and PSU compartment ?
top and bottom if possible as im trying to find a place to stick the old pa160 :)

They are set out to be used with self tappers, but it is a No6 UNC hole that has been drilled (which equates to ~3.5mm ish)
I've brought some M4x30 socket caps back from work to have a play about with, it all depends on whether i can find a tap though :D

I'm not 100% sure which sizes you mean but here goes:

Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
thats perfect m8, although the pa160 shroud would have to go i recon if needs be the 160 could sit quite happy in the bottom of the case.
looking at the tdp of a pair of 480's being 600w nothing less than a pa140.3 hanging off the back on a custom bracket would do, i have a friend working in the us so the koolance order should go through this weekend for the controller cards, 480 blocks and flow meters
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
Sounds like there're going to be a lot of WC build threads soon... ;)
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
800D is £193.86 on TodayOnly (bloomin' typical )
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
TakTak, im planning on making a case similar to the 800D when I have time and cash (although it will be basic, however layout very similar). If you get time could you measure some important parts ie the following:
Size of MOBO tray- length/height and thickness, DVD bays length and height. width of the whole case from the middle. And maybe any other measurements you feel i may need :P.
It looks like an awesome case which iks why im planning on buying some sheets of steel and building one from scratch similar to this, cant afford a proper 800D so a basic one for WC will do for me HAH. keep the posts comming :).
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
bugger it my boss will be placing the order with scan in the morning for the 800d and 2 inno3d 480 cards :)
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
Impulse buying? Hope you don't regret not waiting for the EVGAs... (not that I'm complaining, you understand ;) )
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
You prefer EVGA just for good record?
Re: Corsair 800D, Watercooled log
EVGA lets you replace the heatsinks without voiding the warranty.
