Hmmmm... what're these weird polygons in my game?

Any ideas chaps? Is there a setting I can change or something? Or is my GPU on it's way out (HD 4870)?

ja... 'tis true... but, why do I suddenly have the strange squares hovering over it? And also, when units fire and when dust rises etc?

Re: Hmmmm... what're these weird polygons in my game?

That's probably fine - different drivers don't always interpret particle effects correctly which sometimes leads to these polygons rather than glowy smoke or whatever. You could go back a few driver versions and see if it fixes it, or submit a bug report to the catalyst driver team (I had the same thing with a particular scene in Mass Effect I think).
