    SN41G2 Tv-out

Is it possible to boot a SN41G2 (using the onboard graphics card) from tv-out directly without a vga monitor connected or do I have to connect a monitor also?

I've got the SN45G with FX5200 graphics card and you can boot with just the monitor, just TV or both and the screen shows up on both by default. The SN41G should be the same I would imagine.

On the SN41G2 there is a GeForce 4 MX card, do I have to preconfigure anything in nView to boot with tv-out only?

Its probably the same with all the Geforce cards, but on mine if you just have one source plugged in, it will automatically detect its there and output the display onto it. If you've got the monitor plugged in as well, it will probably display the BIOS on both, but depends on the nView mode you last used as to whether it displays windows on the TV as well.

If just the TV's plugged in, it should display it on the TV no problem. That's what I'm doing with my shuttle - use it plugged into TV and monitor in my room, then take it downstairs, hook it up to a bigger TV and it displays ok without any trouble.

Check the BIOS, there should be a section for selecting TV-out as the primary display
