I know that Seasonic manufactured PSU's for Antec's Earthwatts series but I don't know what models this extended to, i.e. whether it was the complete range or only those above a certain wattage. I believe these have a different cooling design / arrangment too - that is, there's a rear fan but no bottom fan? Won't this be a problem as outlined in your initial post?

Looks like I am going to get the Silverpower unit. It seems to a decent job of keeping a system cool too:

    Internal construction looks good too:

If Scan however do the Antec HCG400 or the Seasonic S12II-430 for around £40 I may get this instead - Hint! Hint! Wink! Wink! You no what I mean! You know what I mean!

Is there no way of adding some additional cooling to the case? There are like expansion slot cooling kits you can get if you literally have nowhere else to put a fan.

It sounds like just the psu exhausting all the heat is going to put alot of stress on it.

With the graphics card and a PCI wireless card there is not enough room as the motherboard is mATX.

There was a 400W FSP PSU which was doing the job fine but the fan is now going kaput after three years. This is why I need to get a decent quality unit as the cheaper 400W+ units use sleeve bearing fans and cheaper capacitors which tend not to tolerate heat well.

I did see that but I sent them a request for the Silverpower to be put on Today Only! The only problem is that a few people need to do this if they are to consider this!

I dunno, my flatmate sent in a request for a specific SSD and 3.5-2.5 mount to be put on today only as a bundle and it was a few days later. Im guessing loads of people didnt request that!
