Umm yeah, case, if you can afford it, get the cube, complete over-kill, but very cool :D
Ive got a cube, its really awkward to fit harddisks and cd drives in it without getting the cables in the way of each other. Im afraid its "either/or" when ur fitting them.
Its also about £30 cheaper at tekheads ;)
How about this for 2.2Tb of data:

i hope that works. If not try this: http://www.hardocp.com/images/news/1...v8f9_1_1_l.jpg
Same mobo as me too :D
you said dvds wear out... then backup the backup dvd - at ~80p/disk for 4x speed you cant go wrong!
get your tb system if you want - but add a dvd writer and a few hundred dvds to that :D
PC70 is what you need.
6 x 3.5 at the bottom, 3 x 3.5 in the floppy bay section, 5 x 5.25 which could be used with cooldrives.
:D
zag2me I happen to have a PC70 as my main case. I only have 2 x 40gb HDD in there and 1 DVD drive. Waste of a good case IMO, i could be persuaded to change to a more compact case if you flash a wad of 20's in my face?
Butuz
Sure im looking more and more at the lian-li pc 70 its a nice case. Iv bid £85+£15 postage on ebay for one so I will see how that goes. PM me if you want to sell.
I have no idea how that 2.2tb systems posted keeps cool, those hard disk are sooo close together, it cant be good. I guess it would keep you warm in those winter nights :)
I got dvd-r so I will start to backup I guess, but when you've got such a nice internet connection, my data could be aquired again :)
All your answers start here.... - Fairly big pdf but sooooooo yummy...
The Chieftec Scorpio has a hell of a lot of room in it.
There's a new version of the Dragon out now as well:

About £45 on Aria.
New features:

errr the drgons we have in stock (i work at aria) are the old style cases, unless we've just got some in today (very unlikely)
also just to add my little comment - i have a PC-70 with 8 hard drives (2 80's on a raid - then 6 smaller hard drives on std IDE channels) i too use it to store si-fi shows etc on.
Well that pic's from your site m8 and they are showing as in stock
"oops" ? ;)
