Couple of pricechecks: lappy and bridge camera

Hokay, the missus is trawling through the cupboard and pushing things at me that we could do to get shot of. I'm really not sure what these 2 are actually worth in the real world any more though...

Firstly a Toshiba Satellite L350-14F with Vista Home Premium.

Secondly a Fuji Finepix S5600 bridge camera with a 1Gb XD card. Pretty decent starter camera, I used it for about a year and a half before I moved onto my D70s and passed this on to the missus. I've since bought her a new camera and so this has been sat in the cupboard for... about 18 months or so.

The camera is going for as little as £45ish on eBay so around that in a forum sale I imagine.

Any sample pics from the camera? I think I'd be interested pending a little more research on my part into what sort of photos this'll give me (over my standard 10MP point compact?)

Cheers Rob - if the missus decides to sell I'll get some sample shots taken and let you know. From a 10Mp point & shoot? You'll be dropping a few megapixels for a start, but... if you're looking for something with a little more versatility but can't justify splooging on an SLR then it's a nice middle ground. It does have a pretty monster 10x *optical* zoom though, which is always handy to have.

Yeah I think having this for outside pics might be nice than my compact. Let me know if you do decide to part with it
ebay is from £45 to £70-£80ish depending on condition/extras.

As for the lappy, eBay seems a mixed bag, similar specs have gone for varying prices so it's tricky, I'd imagine a couple of hundred max considering what can be bought new though (albeit the 17" screen is a bonus) but I'm no expert there

We have the s5000 and the zoom is one of the best Ive seen in this type of camera apart from the lumix range Great on battery life too.
    Cheers, David
