    Ram timings

Ive got 256mb (i know i need more ) of pc2100 ram atm. My timings before were 2.5-3-3-6. Ive fiddled and ive got my timings to 2-2-2-6 atm. Hopefully this should give me an increase in bandwidth. Do you think i should try and go for 2-2-2-5 or should i just leave it as it is?

try 2-2-2-11 they for some reason allow for better bandwidth and allow for higher fsb when you go to overclock it (you know you will) and it will be more stable!

I thought that the 11 setting was for nforce 2 boards...didnt realise that it was widely applicable.

Download something like sandra and see what gives you a better score in the RAM testing bit...5/6/11.

Yea using the winrar bandwidth benchmark i seem to have gained 30kb more bandwidth from 200kb when i started. So that has to be good.
2-2-2-11 is for n-force2 boards. Mine only lets me have 5-6-7 anyway The strange thing is with my mobo is that there is an option of 1.5 for the Cas latency which ive never seen before :S
