Mouse advice g500 or roccar kone+

Which one would be the better choice? im pretty stuck on them, want a decent gaming mouse that is responsive, decent tracking and ease of use, looks are not a problem.

But im stuck! i cannot decide which one would be better? i currently use a g5 which has served me well but now is pretty much on its last legs....no good to me anymore and response time is showing its age! so thoughts?

I have a Kone+ and love it. However, I might have to return it as it is sometimes not picking up clicks or wheel scrolls so I think there might be a problem with it hardware wise. Will get another though as I think it is a great mouse; one of the very few which is large enough to stop the edge of my hand touching the mat and causing drag.

I had/have the G500 and it was/is superb. However after not very long usage, IMO, the cable broke or developed a loose connection. I know Logitech's support is supposed to be good so i could get it replaced but up until it broke it was as i say, superb, and i would recommend it.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: Mouse advice g500 or roccar kone+

I've got the original Roccat Kone, lovely mouse, still working fine after a year.

    - Really nice matt feel.
    - Customizable lights.
    - Really responsive.
    - Feels very comfortable due to its shape.

IMO the Kone+ is just the Kone with a few hardware alterations, the buttons are supposed to be more robust and the Roccat logo looks quite nice across the front of the mouse.

Wouldn't know anything about Roccat so won't advise against it, but i've had g500 for over 5 months now, not a single problem. Also if you like your mouse a bit heavy, weights make it ideal. Scarcraft2, day of defeat, tanks, games that require aim or a very responsive mouse - all good this end
