    Do you mean one of those PCI adapter cards that let you use IDE ports (like the RAID cards)?

    This should do the trick - it's software RAID, but don't worry about that. I'm not 100% certian that it's bootable, but it looks like it is. Might want to check first...

    If it is bootable then you may have to set the motherboard BIOS to boot from SCSI - check that the BIOS supports this.

    Another option is ebay, but I can't see them being any cheaper.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Well any major retailer is going to have such a card.

    What I meant by bootable is, do you want to boot windows from that hard drive, or will you but loading windows from a hard drive that's attached directly to the motherboard?

    If you want to boot of a drive that's attached to the card, then the card needs to have a bios on it and support for booting, which it looks like it does.

    If you are booting from a drive attached to the motherboard then don't worry about that.

    Here is another possible product choide:

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    There's always ebay if you really have a grudge against ebuyer.

    Just make sure whatever you get can be booted from, and that the motherboard bios can support scsi booting too.

    RAID connector? I don't know what you mean.

    Unless it's a RAID card then I doubt it...

    Also, you could get this card from overclock.co.uk
    I used it in my dads old p3 600Mhz machine and it runs a W.D. 120Gb just fine!

    The "Hot deals" ad on the site has practically sold it to me, and I don't even need one, lol.

    Looks like a decent card to me.

    have you tried the hard drive on the board you've got? have you tried updating the bios of the board? i managed to get an 80gb WD working on a Dell BX P2-350 system - using windows 2000 - i may have had to use software from WD, but I can't remember (sorry)
