In the meantime set the FSB to maybe 185 and try again. You can set it anywhere between 166 and 200, so just run it as fast as you can get it stable.

When I change the fsb, I don't seem to have the option of "anywhere between 166 and 200". It only gives 4 options. There are if I remember rightly, 100, 133, 166 and 200. If you can tell me how to change it to other numbers, that would be great.

No, the voltage is entirely up to the motherboard. The processor just has to take whatever you decide to give it.

I just want to check this first because when I change the multiplier, the system won't boot .
The processor is locked. You can't change the multiplier in the bios.

And I'm not too bothered about overclocking it anymore - it's just that I ran that prime 95 test, and it came up with errors.
Well, you seem to be going for an 'all or nothing' overclock here; you can run it anywhere between 166 and 200fsb. Try 180-185 and see how that works out.

There should be an option something like "user define" somewhere.

No, I can look again, but I'm sure there's only 4 options.

According to the MSI manual I downloaded, it should be under 'Advanced chipset features' in the bios; the 'CPU fsb clock' option should allow you to select anywhere between 100-200 (or 250 maybe) FSB in 1MHz steps.
