overclocking 9800 pro

i have a radion 9800 pro 128 mb sapphire make and have rage 3d installed any idea how much i should set the overclocking sliders to also is there any better ways to overclock this card

hi mate i,m currently running a 9800 pro excalibur, on a asus a7n8x-x mb with a xp2600 mobile barton(running at 2500 mhz) and 1g of 512 pc3200 corsair ram. currently i,ve over clocked it to 411 core and 370 on the mem (seems to run very stable and has produced some noticable differences in 3d mark applications . hope this helps m8!

if i were u , id use the little tool called atitool, it automatically finds the limit of the oc then sets it, it works a treat on my 9600pro

ati tool is good ,another one you could use m8 is riva tuner i use it and it is user friendly enough ( has to be for me!!) i,ve used it on all my cards 9600, 9700 pro and now my 9800 pro
