kvm's rule....so much so that i've insisted i get one at work too, don't know what i did without one (well, i scrabbled about unplugging stuff is what i did, and it was a rubbish way of behaving)
hoarding stuff is also excellent advice, i throw nothing away (but then i'm a natural born hoarder anyway) you never know when that bizarre part you stripped out of your nan's old P166 a few years ago will come in handy!
