digital OPTICAL out on asus A7N8X Deluxe

I got the asus A7N8X Deluxe MB, little realising that the digital out was a coax. my external decoder has only optical in (its oldish), so is there an asus device to give an optical out?

I don't particularly want a coax --> optical convertor, as I'm trying to save as much mes round the back there as possible...

Ebuyer did sell them, but they only have these now. If the pin outs are the same (and it is optical, it doesnt say) then it would still work. All depends on those pinouts though.
