    IR receiver and remote?

    Almost finished my HTPC set-up and I'm looking to get a remote for it, would also like to be able to control the TV/Sky and DVD systems from it without it costing me a small fortune

    Can anyone recommend a remote and IR receiver?
    Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

    I've been using one of these for some time.

    Thing is: They're designed for the Windows Media Center and can't control any other devices.
    For what they're intended, they work right out of the box though. Plug in receiver, insert batteries, hit the big fat windows logo button and the mediacenter starts up. edit: if your Vista/7 version includes it that is..

    My remote was sold as "for Asus eeeBox Nettops", but doesn't have any Asus branding/logo.
