Thumbs up Crucial Ballistix - Quick and Dirty Test

Epox EP 8RDA3+ Locked Barton XP2500. I never went above 210 FSB, so the locked Barton was not an issue, I dropped Vmem to get an idea of the potential of the Ram.

    2 x PC 3200 512 Mb's In Dual Mode

Quick Test with the Hexus PIFast.

    11 x 200 FSB

    2.77 Vmem
    Code:
    6-2-2-2 Pass
    5-2-2-2 Pass
    11-2-2-2 Pass
    2.60 Vmem
    Code:
    6-2-2-2 Pass
    5-2-2-2 Fail
    11 x 210 FSB

    2.9 Vmem
    Code:
    6-2-2-2 Pass Time = 61.03
    5-2-2-2 Pass Time = 60.75
    11-2-2-2 Pass Time = 60.63
    2.77 Vmem
    Code:
    6-2-2-2 Fail
    5-2-2-2 Fail
    11-2-2-2 Fail

    Draw your own conclusions

I would never knock Corsair, great memory and If you want the best, Corsair is properly the Memory to buy, put it's not cheap

Running in Dual Channel does put extra stress on the memory I believe also. I have fitted the "Ballistix" into my Dual now and I'm to Lazy to go and try just one stick

    Thumbs Up from Me

    from another forum

    Abit NF7s
Running fine at 2.7v 200 FSB dual channel 2226.

Have run them up to 217 FSB 2-2-2-11 but they needed 2.9 v for 100% stability.
    My thoughts
How many AMD boards are truly stable 24/7 with much above this rams limits

EDIT Thanks Applecrusher for the linky

    M@tt, you're a star again.

I'll be getting a gig of this myself.
