    Ram voltages on Hynix BT-D43

I have 1GB (2x512MB) of this stuff. Running it in a KV8 pro (with working locks, bios rev14). Anyway, the default voltage seems to be 2.5v (I think). I'm running at 2.7Vdimm to make 220x10 stable.

Anyway, to cut a long story short. Is 2.7Vdimm within spec for this RAM, or will I end up shortening its lifetime?

Hmmm... I take it we are taking DDR400 3-3-3, as that's what D43 is. I don't get the 'BT' bit though? Have a look at http://www.hynix.com/eng/products/dram/down/DDR.pdf

I'll stick my neck out and say you are running out-of-spec., but as long as it's cooled reasonably well and you've tested it properly it should be OK. As ever with overclocking, though, you'll always have to be prepared for it going bang! :-)
