    Any ideas on decent quality ISDN cards??

    Getting ISDN a week today, which is going to be soooooooo nice considering im on DACS , and need to get meself a tidy isdn card sorted.

    Does anyone have any cards they know are pretty darn good and give quality speeds?
    if you could give me a few places that sell them as well that would appreciated

    I have one in a box somewhere. I think the manufacturer is "Eicon". Aparently it was fairly well regarded.

    That Asus one from Solwise is widely regarded as one of the best cards for gaming.

    I used to use one before i got DSL and would recommend it. I can't remember any problems at all.

    Seconded Sk!mD4Rk, the ASUS TA is one of, if not the best PCI ISDN card.

    We used the Eicon Diva's at work when ppl used to want ISDN, most ppl are into this ADSL thang atm

    Maybe u could get a router that'll bind 2 channels together, that'd b an idea

    Is ISDN really worth it?
    Been pondering this for a while as I'm a cs fan....

    if it gives 40 pings, I can deal with that! Seems to be pricey though, would really have to be something special!

    40 pings are possible on ISDN. Gaming wise i'd say it's not much difference from DSL. There's no contention issues either if i remember.

    i play Q3 on ISDN with an ASUS card and i ping between 38 and 60
    ive used both the BT speedway card and ASUS one and i dont see any real big diffrence
    just make sure you get a good ISP
