    Ah cool, thats what you want then. i would be curious to know what transfer speeds it gives you as i have experienced some that only give you USB2.0 type bandwidths even on the E-SATA connection.

    I have been using the PC this week for general purpose stuff. My Core i3 2100 with 8GB of RAM feels faster if I have many things running at the same time,but for general usage the system still seems reasonably quick. One thing that is slightly annoying is that Firefox appears to have some slight graphical issues and Chrome does not,so I wonder if this something down to the acceleration,as Nvidia has no Windows 8 drivers for the 9300 series IGP.

    Temperatures are staying under 40C for both the CPU and the 9300 chipset,and this is with the fan speed reduced.
