It seems it will use GPUs with a clockspeed over 1GHZ:

It will probably be overpriced too.

AMD really want to claim the single card performance crown with an official card. At about 550-600 it would be an absolute steal, and would help force nvidias prices down. However it should be good value at anything under 900, especially if it comes with Ares 2 performance, really put some pressure on nv
Dual Pitcairn would be a more interesting product. It's possible that for GCN2, AMD will take the Pitcairn design and mod it for their high end. Certainly Tahiti is a bit too power hungry but maybe they'll what NV has done with Titan: GK110's DP performance is very well power gated.
Of course, Titan also seems to be binned judging by the operating voltages. Maybe well binned Tahiti parts @ ~1.0V would make a 7990 with modest power requirements possible.
But with Titan being only about 25% faster than 7970GHz, maybe AMD should go all out and put out a binned 7970 @ 1300Mhz. Put that in a good design with a fancy cooler and it should come close to or even be faster than Titan. They just have to price it a bit below $1000.
