    Question stalling for new h/ware

I have come into some money and far be it from me to deny myself an upgrade. i have a girlfriend who might object to flagrant spending, but i must get something, or else whats the point?
i'm waiting on the usual(HL2 and doom) any suggestions.
Let me say though, i've looked into several difff options and i want something thats going to make a difference visually.
    any answers appreciated.

HL2 should bring a drop in higher-end ATi gfx cards...
Hopefully the new AMD chips that are coming out at this time (the 64's) will drop the prices of the Barton's a little....

Seems like if your stalling, HL2 seems to be the best time to wait for.

yeah, that rig looks good to me, certainly good enough to live in its current state for a few months! maybe you could take the GF out for a very expensive meal instead?
For joy, apparently, it was all Franny could do to hold the phone, even with both hands.

to be honest, the only real thing you could do would be get some better memory (or oc your current) and get that FSB as high as you can.
Youve got a NF2 board, so you should do fairly well with it
