    Advice...

Just bought an XP1700 off of Knox, stepping code AXDA1700DUT3C JIUHB0312VPMW

I have a Epox KHA motherboard with a Zalman flower for cooling (along with another 7 fans in the case...)

Whats the best way to go about overclocking this chip then?

Right now I can overclock my XP1800 to about 2gig but I get a few instabilities after a while, so I've been running it at stock.

Been a while since I overclocked anything and certainly not on this board so let me know what you reckon.

what chipset does that mobo use, what ram have you got, what zalman flower is it?

if it's a kt333, kt400, kt600, nf2 motherboard, you've got ram capable of pc2700+ and your zalman is up to, then just whack the fsb up from 133 to 166, if it doesn't work, whack the vcore voltage up to 1.7v, if it still doesn't work then hit it with hammer until it does
