    Be fair. I was talking about expandability not about upgrades. You can add graphic cards via Thunderbolt and you could always use the USB ports for hard drives. And let's face it. If you can afford a Mac Pro, you'll hardly quibble about the cost of a Thunderbolt drive.

    You sorta can. It's more or less "just" cable-based PCIe. See the MSI GUS II and Silverstone T004
