After a load of hassle that Im going through atm with all my hardware blowing up and all Im thinking it might be time to go back to basics.

My PC usage is :
70% Web
20% Watching dvds/divx
10% Gaming

With music running nearly all the time.

I currenlty have
A AMD 64 ( 754 )
9800 xt with artic cooler 3
Sonic Fury
DVD Drive
NEC 3500 DVD Burner
1 x 200 GB IDE
1 x 120 GB IDE
2 x 512mb pc3200 400mhz OCZ

I would need to sell all my current cases/mobos etc to fund this.And would like to keep as much as possible of the current setup in the SFF. Not really botherd about o/c anymore and just needs to be stable and reliable.

So what would be the best setup I could go for? And some links/prices would be great.

You could just get a SN85G4 that will take your

AMD 64 754
9800XT
NEC 3500 Burner
Both hard drives
and your ram
If you're Sonic Fury is PCI you can slap that in as well

so just chuck your case and get a USB2.0 case for that other DVD drive.

If at all possible I might order a SFF tonight as I need a base station for my work really by the weekend so all comments welcome.

Also what HS and Fan will fit on the shappire 9800? I take it I will need to remove the Artic Cooler so looking for a decent replacment that will fit.

Thats the prob i got at the mo, i have had to go back to stock.

the one a lot say to use is the vantec cooler.

Arrgh didnt know that you couldnt fit the second HDD without taking out the card holder! And also the need to order a extra IDE cable to fit the HDD if it put in,

there should be 2 ide cables

one 2 port ide cable and one 1 port cable

i got 2 hdds and a cd-rw/dvd combi in mine at the mo. looking to move the 2nd hdd to a external fw caddie.

The dvd cable only has one, and the one in the box was also a one.
Might just make the second hdd a external like yourself, do you have one in mind?

Also the shuttle came with a usa 2 pin cable :/

Just read on aria that another lad seem to have had the two pin, ill ask them to send another out,

yup not a prob i'll put order in for 2 m8 sort payment out later

the fan blades are clear with a blue led in.

now 10cfm should be good enuff to oc to xt speeds.......btw you also get 4 ramsinks too....but then i was going to order 8 ramsinks from alpha cool anyway 6 quid for a pack of 8 is cheap
