The inquirer is reporting that DFI are ready to release Pentium-M based motherboards for desktop systems. here. Ok so the specs of the board are pretty crap for a new board but finally some one has brought the performance of the pentium-M to the desktop. This can only be a step in the right direction (providing intel dont put a stop to it).

Anyway, these do look cool. The DFI board is actually designed for small servers it seems, they have a PCI-X slot on a M-ATX board
although the inclusion of an AGP slot suggests that they intended to sell it as a desktop board too.
