Yeah I agree, I've got a Icemat - Black 2nd Edition mouse mat, and its happens to me all the time, with two different mice, using two different surrfaces, suppose I just got to stop bad habbitsOriginally Posted by Mblaster

Logitech Mouseman with Dual optical, its older than the rest but i love it because of solid weight, sturdy contruction,no mouse lag in games like Ut2003 etc, great design and solid buttons that will last the test of time over some of the newer ones

This is by far the best gaming mouse I have used!
Just came accross this app:
http://www.tcmagazine.info/modules.p...etails&lid=196
Claims to increase the USB sampling rate to 250 or 500MHz..... No idea how it works or even if it works - haven't tried it yet (@ work )
So use at own risk!

I have tried them all it seems, including the Boomslang. I was also changing mice every few months before I found the best by far which I have been using for over a year now.
Microsoft Optical Notebook Mouse. Very light super responsive fits snugly into the palm of the hand. Only two small disadvantages are, 3 buttons only and its not cordless.

Vis a vis the MX 1000, it looks rather large. Does anyone with smallish hands have one? I find some Logitech Mice are uncomfortable because they have a hump that forces my hand into an unnatural postion - this looks like it may be one of them. Comments?
I had the mouseman dual optical too, the wax blobs underneath it had worn out so i had to upgradeOriginally Posted by Frosty
But the MX510 is immensely better, if you upgrade later on then you should be more than happy with this mouse.
Woo Hoo !!! Got my mouse working at home at last, put a new copy of 2K3 on and it's working again. Still not to sure abuot the mouse, but I suppose it reacts diffefrently from any other mouse I've used, so it might be a question of getting used to new things.
I think the best 3 are (not stealing anything from Tom's hardware review) are the Razer Diamondback or the MX510 or MX1000/700. Still thinking of upgrading to MX510, but I'm going to give my MX1000 a chance, after all I spend enough on it.
One of my mates has got the Logitech Trackman Wheel and says thats really good, not to sure about it myself and I don't think I would ever use on, but if anyones got anything to say, then go on.
