SN41G2 & the wireless module – SN41G2 owners in here!

Ok I got hold of one of those wireless modules that fit ‘all shuttles’ but I can’t see where it goes without losing my front USB ports? From my limited understanding there our 2 USB headers in the SN41G2 shuttle. And they both have headers on them for the front panel? What are my options and has anyone any advice on this?

Hi,
Have you got a card reader on the front pannel? Also does the Wireless Unit have an extra usb header on it? U can find the other usb header to the bottom right of the memory behind the pci slot it's yellow on mine. hope that helps

yeah i have the car reader, which goes to the sisterboard, the wireless unit connectes to the sisterboard as does the card reader and then the sisterboard goes to the usb header on the mobo, on the sn41g2 there seems to be two either side of the agp slot, i pulled one out and the usb ports all semm to work so not quite sure hwat i have done!

so how many uisb headers should there be inside a SN41G2?

Depends on what version of Motherboard you have I think, Mine has two.

yeah i think mine only has two, one either side of the AGP slot, i have pulled out the one nearer the middle of the mobo and everything else seems to work! so i'm a little confused!
