Aego 2 - Soundcard query

Im thiking of ditching my Creative FPS1600 4.1 or whatever they are for the said Aego 2 after reading such amazing reviews.


Heres my query though

I currently have a Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit 7.1 PCI Sound Card as my SFF would not work with my choice soundcard, a Sonic Fury ( Turtle Beach ).

Now would the Live! be somewhat worthless with such quality speakers?

Will be playing a lot of music, playing a few avi's and some little gaming.

It depends on how much of a rush you're in I guess, but I'd probably wait for the Sound Storm 2 cards to arrive..
