    tips on hitting 240fsb

right, ive been having a play with this cpu, (see sig)
and have been unable to push it upto 240fsb stable, ive tryed limiting the ram as its not very clock friendly ram, and upping the v core slightly, but to no avail, is there n e thing else i should look out for or have i pushed this chip as far as, which would be a shame to me as a lot of the other winchesters easily hit 2500mhz+

    (multiplier is 10x)

    cheers guys

Try using a divider for you RAM. Apparently you don't lose much performance if you dont run your memory in sync.

currently wat i am doing, it was set to 3:2 or something similar which limits it to pc2700. when i was upping the fsb it put it back up to 200 (or very close) so i changed it again so the speed would be slower so i had more space to up the cpu but any higher than about 235fsb even with the ram runnin below stock speeds and its not stable
