    Can I use logitech cordless keyboard through MX1000 base?

    As title, i have a MX1000 and would like to know if other logitech keyboards will work through the base. Like how the Desktop MX keyboard works

    Shame if you can't. Means another base! Already have the MX1000 base and the wired remote from the Z-2200s

    I find it quite stupid too that all these wireless keyboards and mic cant use each other's bases, even by means of some sort of new firmware etc. that could be really handy

    would have thought that the MX1000 and Desktop MX had very similar bases

    Maybe the Desktop MX base has 2 recievers

    Gyration's HID's, which I reviewed many moon ago, all support the same base receiver. I'm suprised Logitech stuff doesn't work that way too.

    Is there a decent reason why they do not all use Bluetooth?

    plus i think logitech's bluetooth MX900 was slower than their RF MX700

    So the answer is no it won't work, right?
